Blue Dyed Maple LEGO Build Tray

After some friends saw the LEGO build trays delivered to my girls from Santa Claus's workshop, they said they would like one for their son for his birthday. His favorite color is blue, so I decided to expand my horizons by playing with dyes. I quickly learned that maple doesn't really like to dye or stain very well, but I did my best with it and am still pleased with the results. Maybe next time I'll test out one of the pre-stain conditioners available to see if it might improve the results a little more.
